Godaddy stolen domain name recovery process

Godaddy stolen domain name recovery process

For details, see the previous article: Many domain names registered with Godaddy were stolen. Nearly 10 domain names registered by the blogger with Godaddy on June 12 were transferred to other accounts. This was discovered accidentally when checking the domain name whois.
When the domain name was transferred, Godaddy sent an email for confirmation, but unfortunately I didn't see it. It was discovered only a dozen days later.
So I sent an email to [email protected] to explain the situation, and then Godaddy replied and asked me to send an email to [email protected] to explain the situation.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for contacting online support.
You will need to email [email protected] for assistance with this matter. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Please let us know if you need anything else.Regards,Sergio MOnline Support Team

Then, I sent an email to [email protected], saying that the domain name had been stolen without my knowledge and asked how I could get it back.
After that, [email protected] will need a username, digital ID, and if it is a company, the company name.
I wrote back to explain. (If it is a person, then say it is a person)
Afterwards, [email protected] replied:

Thank you for your message. The current registrant is gangan kaxi. In order to assist us in our review, please reply to this message, providing: 1) Your association with this registrant. 2) Any additional information you may have regarding how the current registrant was able to obtain control of the domain name. 3) Any auto-generated emails you received when the domain names changed. Kind regards, Undo Department

It means three things: first, the current registrant information of the stolen domain name (of course you don’t know if it’s stolen, so just say you don’t know him/her), second, the reason for the theft, and third, the confirmation letter sent to your email when the domain name is transferred (you can just take a screenshot of this).
Just reply according to the instructions.
Then, [email protected] replied as follows:

Thank you for your email. Please provide us with the following:
The completed Request for Undo of Change of Registrant form (attached).
Photo identification. Acceptable photo identification is clear, readable, and issued by the government. We must be able to clearly identify the pictured person, name, signature, and expiration date. If the ID is not in English, we require a Certified English Translation that includes the name of the translator as well their contact information.
You may scan or take a digital photo of the information and email it to [email protected] Once all the required documentation has been received, we will investigate the matter and respond to you via email as quickly as possible.
If all required documentation is not received within 10 days we will consider the matter closed.
In the meantime we have placed a lock on the domain names, which will prevent them from being further modified or transferred to a different Registrar.
Thank you,
Undo Department

It means: fill in the required information in the attachment, including ID card and translation (requires a professional translation company and official seal). Simply send this information to [email protected].
There is an item in the attachment that requires you to re-register an account and transfer the stolen domain name to this new account.
Mine was successful, haha.
I also wish success to those who are in the same situation!
