ixwebhosting dedicated IP and shared IP switching

ixwebhosting dedicated IP and shared IP switching

As the threshold for building a website in China increases, foreign space is increasingly favored by webmasters. ixwebhosting was the first to play this card to enter China. At the beginning, I purchased the ixwebhosting host because it gave away multiple independent IPs and supported Alipay payment, which made purchase very convenient. As I have seen many sites, independent IPs are not enough, so at this time, I have to consider how to use their shared IPs.
What if you build a lot of websites? Then, how do you switch between independent IP and shared IP? After a period of thinking, I finally found a way.
1. Open the official Chinese website of ixwebhosting http://cn.ixwebhosting.com. There is a "Login" link at the bottom of the homepage. Click "Login" to enter the control panel of the ixwebhosting host. 2. After entering the control panel, click hosting products on the left. The corresponding host products will appear on the right. Click the manage button to enter its management page. Click the manage button to enter its management page. Click "domains" to enter the domain name management page. If multiple domain names have been added, select the domain name you want to view and click to enter as shown below:

As shown in the figure above,

The following is the quoted content:
96.*.*.* (Dedicated IP) CHANGE to Shared IP

This IP indicates an independent IP. On the contrary, if it is displayed as

The following is the quoted content:
96.*.*.* (Shared IP) CHANGE to Dedicated IP

This IP is represented as a shared IP.
3. If you create a subdomain now, the default IP assigned to you is a shared IP. If you need an independent IP, you can click the "CHANGE to Dedicated IP" button behind the shared IP to switch it to an independent IP. Of course, you must have an available independent IP. 4. If you build a lot of websites and find that the independent IP is not enough, and want to switch this independent IP to a shared IP, you can click the "CHANGE to Shared IP" button behind the independent IP to switch it to a shared IP.
If you are using IXwebhosting's NS, then you just need to wait for it to take effect by default, which will take effect within 48 hours. If you are not using IXwebhosting's NS, then you need to go to your domain name management office, re-parse it, and point it to this new IP.
