1. Install TraceRoute

Under CentOS:
yum install traceroute -y

For Debian/Ubuntu:
apt-get install traceroute -y

2. Install BestTrace

wget -N --no-check-certificate https://cdn.ipip.net/17mon/besttrace4linux.zip
unzip besttrace4linux.zip
chmod +x besttrace

3. Use BestTrace to query the return route from VPS to local IP

The format is ./besttrace -q 1 0.0.0.0

Replace .0.0.0.0 with your local IP (you can view the IP outbound routing of your VPS at https://tools.ipip.net/newping.php, and then select IPs from different regions)
