Kloxo Installation Notes

It is very convenient to use on a buyvm vps.

Installation Requirements

•  Operating system: CentOs, Red Hat Linux 32-bit operating systems are applicable, and the 64-bit version of kloxo is still under development
• Memory disk: at least 256M, 2G disk space.
• Requirements for /tmp partition: kloxo needs a larger /tmp partition to create backups regularly. Friends who don't need this feature can turn off automatic backup.

 
Preparation before installing kloxo

• Switch to root
• Turn off selinux
• Make sure the firewall does not block ports 7777 and 7778. The port settings can be changed. Safety first^_^

Start Installation

• su - root
• wget http://download.lxlabs.com/download/kloxo/production/kloxo-install-master.sh
• sh ./kloxo-install-master.sh

At this step, wait for the kloxo installation to complete, and everything is done ~ mysql, apache/lihttpd, php, qmail, and ftp are all installed. Use https//ip:7777 to log in to the backend for settings. The initial user and password are both admin.
Some settings that must be done

• Install Chinese language pack
• Delete the kloxo log files, otherwise the logs will fill up the space in a few days
• Add DNS template. Whether you use the built-in DNS server of Kloxo or not, you need to set it.

Optimize settings

• Turn off the DNS server, chkconfig named off
• Turn off kloxo's built-in qmail, chkconfig qmail off
• Turn off imap, chkconfig courier-imap off;
