Bluehost remote access mysql database

Bluehost remote access mysql database

The Bluehost host can use the Remote MySQL function to use the mysql client locally to connect to the remote database. Add the local IP in Remote MySQL to remotely connect to the Bluehost host database server locally. In this way, you can use the mysql client software on the local computer to connect to the Bluehost database for database management without having to log in to cpanel and enter phpmyadmin every time to operate.
The setup steps are as follows:
1. Log in to cpanel and select Remote MySQL
2. Your local IP address will be displayed on the page
Your IP is: xx.xx.xxx.xx [Add]
Your Class C is: xx.xx.xxx.xx/xx [Add] as shown below:

3. You can directly click Add above to add your local IP address, or you can enter the IP address yourself below and click Add, and it will show that the IP address has been added. That's it.
Then, you can use the mysql client software on your local desktop to enter the Bluehost host IP and database account to remotely log in to the Hostmonster database for management.
