It provides free website firewall, DDOS protection, CC protection, smart DNS resolution, hotlink protection, page compression, cache acceleration and permanent online services.

Baidu Accelerator was originally an online free website CDN acceleration and website security protection platform launched by Knowsec, dedicated to systematically solving the problems of slow website access speed and website anti-hacking. It was acquired by Baidu on September 2, 2013 and renamed "Baidu Accelerator".
2. Service Quality There is nothing much to say about the functions, so we have to compare them from the perspective of service quality. The current functions can be divided into security functions, acceleration functions and DNS services. The author has conducted a one-month test on all three. Let's take a look at them separately.
1. There is actually nothing much to say about the security functions such as firewall, CC protection, anti-DDOS, anti-hacker, anti-hotlink, and data analysis. Ordinary websites do not have such high requirements for this. The services provided by the three companies are excellent and fully meet everyone's basic needs, especially corporate websites. Most of them do not pay much attention to security. Using any of the three companies can meet security needs and block 90% of illegal requests.
2. Acceleration function This is probably what small and medium-sized website owners are most concerned about. Bandwidth costs now account for most of the server expenditures. In addition, the domestic network environment is complex and the operating costs are higher. In the past, dual-line, multi-line, and BGP were quite popular, but of course the price was not cheap. Now free CDN helps everyone solve this problem. The author has launched the same website program in these three companies, and the acceleration data obtained are as follows:
You can see that the response time of SafeSafe and 360 Website Guard is basically the same (these two acceleration node servers seem to be in the same computer room), and Baidu Accelerator is obviously much faster.
3. As for DNS service, everyone has their own opinions, so I will not describe it in detail.
Fourth: The impact on SEO is the most important thing, and what everyone cares about the most. Through the author's personal experience, I would like to give you one sentence: There is no free lunch in the world;
1. Safeguard and 360 Website Guard have no effect on Google, but have a certain impact on Baidu's crawler. Sometimes Baidu Webmaster Platform will prompt that the website cannot be accessed (especially in CNAME acceleration mode), but the website is indeed normal.
2. Baidu Accelerator has no impact on Baidu (after all, it is its own product), but it will occasionally have a certain impact on Google crawlers.
PS: It seems that Accelerator has been upgraded recently. It is still quite stable according to recent observations, and the crawler is normal.
Postscript: If you have a corporate website, it is recommended to use Baidu Accelerator. It is best to purchase the paid version. The speed improvement is quite obvious, especially in terms of security, so you don’t have to worry too much. For ordinary websites, it doesn’t matter. All three are fine.
