How to turn off Google's SafeSearch feature

How to turn off Google's SafeSearch feature

In March this year, Google's withdrawal from China caused a sensation. The 60 Points Tribe believes that the greatest significance of this incident is that it has made more people aware of the existence of Internet censorship. Ever since Google moved its servers to Hong Kong, when searching for certain keywords, the message “*** has been filtered out by Google because Google’s safe search feature is enabled” often appears. This is actually a fallback plan that Google has left, automatically enabling the safe search function by default for mainland China IP and simplified Chinese users to replace self-censorship. This article provides a graphic tutorial on how to turn off Google's safe search feature.
Due to the habits of Google in China, Google.com will automatically jump to google.com.hk. By default, searches on Google.com have medium filtering enabled, while Chinese searches have strict filtering enabled by default. Of course, this can be turned off. Back in March, the 60 Points Blog wrote about how to turn off Google’s safe search feature, using English as an example. Below, 60 Points Blog will explain how to turn off the Google Safe Search function using Traditional Chinese as an example.
Step 1: First, open the Google homepage, find the search settings in the upper right corner, and click to open the search settings. As shown in the following figure:

Step 2: In the opened search settings, select the interface language: command language as Traditional Chinese, as shown in the figure below. After selecting, click Save.

Step 3: Reopen the Google homepage. At this point, the Google page should have been converted to Traditional Chinese. Enter Google Search Settings again, and now you can see the options for Google's safe search feature, as shown below

Here, we can analyze these options

Just save it again.
This will turn off Google's SafeSearch feature. The safe search feature launched by Google is different from the original self-censorship - because you can choose to turn this feature on or off - the important thing is the choice. As people with thinking ability and normal judgment, we have the right to choose to turn safe search on or off, rather than being "forced" to turn it off or "forced" to turn it on.
