4. Other issues (1) To schedule a VPS restart, first install crontab
a. Install crontab under centos

 yum install vixie-cron crontabs chkconfig crond on service crond start

Install crontab under Debian

 apt-get install cron /etc/init.d/cron restart

b. Add a scheduled restart command

 crontab -e

Add to

 05 * * * * reboot

Then reboot

 /etc/rc.d/init.d/crond start
