Pay-as-you-go CDN: KeyCDN

Pay-as-you-go CDN: KeyCDN

There are many businesses selling CDN now, both domestically and abroad. However, there are probably not many CDNs that have no minimum traffic limit, no prepayment required, no package selection, and no need to pre-bind a paid account. Here I would like to introduce a new CDN to you: KeyCDN.

1. Node Distribution

The Asian region we are concerned about has nodes in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore, not to mention Europe and the United States.

2. Price

0.04 USD/GB, which is about 0.25 RMB/GB, is a reasonable price.

3. Distribution Method

push and pull. Push means using your CDN account to log in to the public FTP address ( ftp.keycdn.com ) provided by the merchant, upload your files to the FTP space, and then distribute them throughout the entire network; pull means pointing the CDN directly to your site URL, allowing the CDN to automatically obtain the website content and then distribute it. More flexible.

IV. Registration

1. Log in to keycdn official website: http://www.keycdn.com
2. Register an account: http://www.keycdn.com/users/register
3. Create a zone: https://www.keycdn.com/zones/add

As shown above, when creating a zone, you must select the zone type. Push only is the push mode, uploading files to FTP and then distributing them; push and pull means that the CDN directly obtains the existing site content for distribution. It should be noted that the pull setting below is for push and pull mode, just enter the site URL; pull-interval, set the time for CDN to re-obtain content from the site; purge, the clearing time of CDN cache files, never purge this zone means not to clear the cache, but just update from the source site regularly according to the pull-interval setting, purge at every pull-interval, it means to automatically cache according to your pull-interval setting.
4. After the zone is created, the system will assign a third-level domain name ending with kxcdn.com for distribution; of course, you can also bind your own domain name, such as Hou Lu Ge’s xx.cdn.name, which is the Zonealiases (CNAMEs) function:

That way, it's done. Let’s see the actual effect:

At the beginning of registration, keycdn will give each user 25GB of free traffic. After using it up, you can prepay a certain amount of fees (minimum US$25) through your own PayPal and then continue to use it.
