A brief discussion on the security issues of GG Adsense accounts

A brief discussion on the security issues of GG Adsense accounts

From time to time, I see some netizens saying that their online money-making accounts have been blocked. Let me talk about the security issues of Google Adsense accounts.
1. What are the symptoms after a Google Adsense account is blocked?
Answer: Once your account is blocked, you will no longer be able to log in to the Google Adsense backend, view income reports, etc. At the same time, you will receive an email from the Google Adsense team in your mailbox, telling you that your account has been blocked. After this, the ads on your website will display public service ads. After a period of time, even public service ads will not be displayed.
2. What are the most common reasons for account closure?
A: The most common situations that are most likely to lead to account closure are mainly the following three:
(1) Click it yourself. For example, you have just logged into the GG backend on a certain computer, and then clicked on an ad on this computer.
(2) Encourage clicks. For example, write "Please click on the ads to support this site" on the web page.
(3) Misleading clicks. For example, you are required to click on an ad before you can perform other actions, or you can get more benefits after clicking on an ad.
(4) Those who have committed multiple content violations. For example, if you place advertisements on web pages that involve copyright, are not suitable for children, or violate the law, the GG team will give a warning for the first time, and will ban the account if it is discovered again.
3. Can someone else’s framing lead to an account being blocked?
A: This is possible, but don’t worry too much about it. If someone maliciously clicks on a website's ads in large numbers every day for a period of time, a large number of invalid clicks will occur. This type of frame-up may cause security problems in the account. However, compared with the second point above, its possibility is smaller, after all, Google has its own identification method.
At the same time, publishers themselves must also insist on checking the income report every day. If they find any abnormal situation (such as the number of clicks or click-through rate on a certain day suddenly doubled), they must report it to the Google Adsense team in time. If malicious clicks continue, they may even need to temporarily stop displaying ads, or delete the domain name of the maliciously clicked ads in the "Allowed Websites" (the display number and click number of websites that are not in the "Allowed Web Pages" list will not be counted in the revenue, nor will it affect the account security).
4. If I accidentally click on an ad, will my account be banned?
Answer: If you occasionally accidentally click on a Google Adsense content ad on a web page, as long as the number is very small, such as once or twice a month, this generally will not cause account security issues. As the world's largest Internet company, Google Adsense will certainly take into account the possibility of misoperation in a humane way. However, you should try to avoid this situation.
If you are very worried about clicking on ads by mistake, you can block Google Adsense ads on your computer. I recommend a method that uses the host file to locally resolve pagead2.googlesyndication.com to 127.0.0.1. When your own computer visits your website again, all Google Adsense ads will not be displayed, thus avoiding the possibility of clicking on ads yourself. You can search "modify host file" on Baidu for specific methods.
5. What does self-clicking include? Can I use the search box? Can I download referral software?
Answer: Clicking on ads yourself, including clicking on adsense content ads displayed on web pages, using the Google search box (regardless of whether you click on ads in the search results), clicking on adsense link ads, downloading recommended products (such as Firefox, Picasa), etc. In short, as long as you click on and use any advertising services related to your own Google Adsense account, it counts as clicking on the ads yourself.
6. What should I do if my account is blocked?
A: You should first reflect on whether you have cheated or violated any regulations. If so, you don't need to waste your time. If you firmly believe that you do not have it, you can appeal through the appeal channel provided by Google Adsense. Each account that is K out has one opportunity to appeal.
However, I personally think that the chances of a successful appeal are very low. After all, Google Adsense will not easily block an account without evidence.
7. What suggestions do you have for Google Adsense account security?
A: Don’t click yourself, don’t encourage clicks, don’t mislead clicks, don’t display ads on pages with inappropriate content, and check reports regularly.
