Install OpenPanel on Debian VPS

OpenPanel is a graphical web system. Like LLSMP, LNMP, etc., its installation environment is Apache, PHP, Mysql, etc.
The following operating systems are supported:

• Debian 5 "Lenny"
• Debian 6 "Squeeze"
• Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid"
• Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick"

Here is the installation process:
1. Open /etc/apt/sources.list and add the following lines
cd /etc/apt/
vi sources.list i Edit and add the following two lines
deb http://download.openpanel.com/deb/ squeeze main
deb-src http://download.openpanel.com/deb/ squeeze main
Press the esc key and enter :w to save the current file, then enter :q to exit the vi editor.
2. Run the installation
apt-key adv –keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com –recv-keys 4EAC69B9
apt-get update
aptitude install openpanel-suggested
During this installation process, there is a place where you need to set the Mysql database password. Use the arrow keys to control the selection and set the password.
If the installation fails, you can use the following command:

 wget -O- http://openpa.nl/key | apt-key add -

Finally, set the password
openpanel-cli
password user openpanel-admin
3. The entire installation process is quite fast, less than 10 minutes, the installation is complete, use https://xxx.xxx:4089/ to log in, the login username is: openpanel-admin
Password is the password you set.
4. Finally, you can choose to upgrade the program
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade

Note: Run lsb_release -a to view the Codename version. In addition, OpenPanel supports OpenApp, which is OpenPanel plus various programs, such as OpenApp WordPress. The following is the installation process:
1. Add update source
vi /etc/apt/sources.list
Add the following content:

 deb http://download.openpanel.com/deb lucid main openapp

Press the esc key and enter :w to save the current file, then enter :q to exit the vi editor.
2. Install input command:

 apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 4EAC69B9
apt-get update
apt-get install openapp-wordpress

During the installation process, there is an option that requires you to enter Yes, do as I say! and then select Internet Site.
3. Set a password

 openpanel-cli "update user password= «your password»

Among them, «your password» can be changed to your password
After the installation is complete, log in using https://xxx.xxx:4089/.
